A Day at the Woolshed
A world-class event and function facility with 150 years of history and a focus on authenticity with the capacity to cater for groups and events of all sizes. Open 7 days 9am - 4.30pm. (Only Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
From car rallies, school excursions, work functions to weddings, the Jondaryan Woolshed complex is a unique and ideal setting. Our four dining areas are fully licensed and serve scrumptious menus designed by our in-house executive chef.
Annual Events take place at the property, only 30 minutes from Toowoomba in the heart of South East Queensland. We host the Australian Heritage Festival and The Jackie Howe Festival of the Golden Shears, as well as New Years Eve, Easter and Australia Day celebrations.
At the heart of the Jondaryan Woolshed is the museum village. Everything that is standing on this site is authentic from the original Jondaryan station. The Woolshed itself is an original sheep-shearing shed with a rich history.
The Woolshed at Jondaryan is located half way between Toowoomba and Dalby, approximately 30 minutes from either city. Visitors from those cities can easily make the trip in a day. For visitors from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the Woolshed is only a 2.5 hour drive. Visitors may alternately prefer to make use of our various accommodation options and make a weekend of it.
