Sit under the roof of the 1880’s shelter shed from the old Woodview school and enjoy a steaming hot cup of real billy tea and a slice of damper fresh from the Camp oven sitting on nearby ironbark coals. Don’t forget to pile on the Cocky’s Joy (traditional golden syrup) ….yum!

If you want a little more, we can do that too. We are fully licensed, with an extensive range of local and imported beers plus quality wines for every palate. We offer everything from a range of light meals and snacks: plowman’s snacks, Devonshire teas with homemade scones and strawberry jam and scrumptious, locally grown lamb and gravy rolls.

Of course if you are really hungry we also offer a range of meals with everything from camp oven stews to BBQ’s, quiche and salads, plowman’s lunches and hearty soups. Finish with some delicious homemade cakes, scones or biscuits.

Planning a daytime or early evening function? The damper hut is perfect for up to 100 people seated or, if you prefer, we can do drinks with canapes and savouries, and music (if required) for up to 200.

The damper hut is open 7 days a week for casual dining or can be booked for any group, corporate or family function.
