Activities at the Woolshed

At the Jondaryan Woolshed, we pride ourselves on our family-friendly activities and facilities. Whether you're dropping by just for the day or camping for a night or two, we offer a number of affordable activities for the whole family to enjoy.

General activities:

We have more than 30 buildings to explore around our historical museum! From a school and hall to a jail and cheese factory, enjoy the history as you wander around at your own pace. Grab an affordable bite to eat at our Damper Hut during the week (Monday to Friday) from 9.00am - 2.00pm and the Woolshed Cafe on the weekend from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Dining hours are subject to change, please contact our team for confirmation.

Scheduled activities:

  • Mini train rides run on the second and fourth Sunday of each month courtesy of the volunteers from the Jondaryan Model Engineers and Live Steamers Inc. Rides are priced at $2.00 each and funds raised support the ongoing maintenance of the historical trains and mini-rail area.
  • Damper making is typically offered during special events, including school holiday activity sessions. Participation attracts a small fee of $5.00 per person and covers the cost of materials. Guests are invited to eat their damper afterwards.
  • Activities such as shearing, Cobb & Co. coach rides and tractor train rides are typically on offer during special events. For confirmation, please contact our team on (07) 4692 2229.

Group activities:

If you are looking at bringing a group of 20 or more people, please contact our Functions Coordinator about available activities, including costs. Email or call (07) 4692 2229.
