The Jondaryan Woolshed is proud to be one of the oldest and largest woolsheds in Australia, celebrating 160 years in 2019. Visit our grounds and experience the relaxed, rural atmosphere as you take a self-guided tour around the historical museum village. Learn about the history by downloading our App - it's free!  

Grab a bite to eat and enjoy our authentic, country hospitality at the Damper Hut during the week or at the Woolshed Café on the weekend. 

 

Operating hours:

We are open seven days from 8:30am to 4:30pm, excluding the following dates when we are closed: Anzac Day (25 April), Queens Birthday (7 October) and from 24-26 December. 

 

Activities:

We have more than 30 buildings to explore around our historical museum! From a school and hall to a jail and cheese factory, enjoy the history as you wander around at your own pace. Mini train rides run on the second and fourth Sunday of each month (but will not be running on Sun, 28th July 2019) and attract a fee of $2 per ride. Other activities are available periodically. *The Jondaryan Woolshed is a family-friendly venue and offers onsite, affordable meals at our Woolshed Café and Damper Hut.  BYO is permitted for campers. For museum visitors, food must be carried on your persons and alcohol is not permitted. Our staff reserve the right to check bags/containers/vessels larger than an A3 size upon departure.  Restrictions apply for functions and events, and due to licencing BYO food or alcohol is not permitted in these circumstances.

*We are pleased to offer pet-friendly camping at the Jondaryan Woolshed. During their stay in our camp grounds, pets are required to be on a lead at all times and remain the responsibility of their owners. 

Please understand that pets are not permitted within the grounds of the museum (including the historic Woolshed), in our food areas or in our cabin accommodation. This requirement excludes Woolshed working dogs and health certified pets. Proof may be required when visiting the Woolshed with a health certified pet, so please bring this with you.
