The Jondaryan Woolshed is located a 30-minute drive west of Toowoomba on the Warrego Highway mid-way between Toowoomba and Dalby.  Turn off the highway onto Jondaryan Evanslea Road at the Jondaryan Hotel and drive south for 5 minutes.

Experiencing the Jondaryan Woolshed.

Allow an hour for a relaxed visit.  In addition to the heritage listed shearing shed, there is a recreated 19th century village.

Group Tours

For groups visiting the Woolshed we offer the options of a self-guided tour or a guided tour of the Jondaryan Woolshed and the historic station village.  We can tailor the visit to suit the needs of the group.


BYO morning tea and/or lunch – groups are welcome to use the undercover seating at the Damper Kitchen for refreshments during the tour.

    Our volunteer tour guide will tell the stories of Jondaryan Station and the heritage listed shearing shed as well as the yarns of the station village.


    Cost: $10 per person (Bus driver, tour guide – FOC).

    The Woolshed is a great place to bring a school group and we can tailor the visit to suit your age group, schedule and curriculum.

Heavy Horse at the Woolshed

When: 6 - 7 June , 2026



The Jondaryan Woolshed Heavy Horse weekend offers an exciting program of gentle giants demonstrating their skill and character and competing across a range of disciplines. The renown Marlie Draught Horses from southern NSW will be in attendance. Their 11-horse team and 10-tonne wagon will be demonstrating bag loading, chaff cutting and harrowing.


Clydesdales, Belgians, and Australian Draught Horses will amaze visitors across the two-day competition that includes barrel race, ploughing, snigging, slide events and harness classes. The famous Woolshed will also present sheep shearing, blacksmithing, wheelwright, wagon rides, markets, food outlets and other family activities. Tea and damper will be in abundance.


Aceline Equestrian will present the amazing horse vaulting display. Enjoy a day of Queensland country hospitality.  Book a campsite at the Woolshed's caravan park.
